Welcome to UPMC and congratulations on beginning your journey with one of America’s top-ranked health care organizations. With more than 60,000 employees, UPMC is western Pennsylvania’s largest employer. Together we are working to transform our region into one based on medicine, research, and technology.
 
Beginnings @ UPMC-Virtual is a 1 ½ hour interactive virtual program that will feature information about our past, present, and future endeavors. We will discuss the concept of dignity and respect and what that means to us at UPMC, as well as review the My HUB functionality, and your additional paperwork and training assignments. You will learn about LifeSolutions (our employee assistance program)and review the Human Resources policies and procedures that are crucial for your success as a new staff member at UPMC.

Log-on information for the webinar will be emailed to you one week prior to your scheduled session.

Please print the forms below and complete on or before your first day of employment. Once complete, please provide to your manager/HR representative.

My HUB is a self-service website accessed through Infonet or http://myhub.upmc.com. This secure, protected site is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be accessed from home or work computers with Internet capability.
 
As a first-time user you must select the link “First time users click here.” It will ask you to enter your Employee ID. Once you have received your ID number and established your password, you can log on to My HUB.

UPMC, the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, and other governing bodies require that UPMC staff take mandatory trainings as a new staff member. These trainings are required to provide staff awareness of all current policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment. These trainings must be completed within one week of your Welcome to UPMC Orientation Session.

  1. Log into your My HUB account.
  2. Click on the uLearn tab at the top of the My HUB homepage.
  3. Click on My Learning under the Quick Links category.
  4. Click on the Launch button next to the systemwide annual mandatories.
  5. On the Table of Contents page, click the Launch link to access the module.
  6. Repeat these steps for each module that needs to be completed.
